Mike Kligerman showcases the versatility of this small but powerful stringed instrument in an entertaining, one-hour concert for the whole family. An accomplished musician, visual artist, and teacher, Mr. Kligerman is a former member of Nairobi (Kenya) Opera Orchestra, former faculty member of Kenya Conservatoire of Music, and a current faculty member of Washington Conservatory. In addition to the ukulele, he performs across metropolitan Washington, D.C. on various instruments including the violin, viola, bass, acoustic guitar, and accordion.

This program is presented in coordination with Art Walk in the Park. Every First Friday, May through September from 6pm to 8pm, the Glen Echo Park Partnership hosts open studios and artist demonstrations in the Park's many visual arts studios and galleries. Each month features different activities.

The Washington Conservatory is a nationally accredited community music school for students of all ages. The Conservatory welcomes both seasoned and novice classical concert-goers and encourages families to attend our concerts with their children.

Parking is available in the large parking lot at Glen Echo Park.
