Washington Conservatory of Music Schedules

Academic Calendar

The Washington Conservatory of Music’s school year consists of two 17-week semesters, with makeup days scheduled during each semester. Students may sign up for additional lessons between semesters. Summer lessons are arranged on a per-teacher basis.

WCM is closed for the following holidays and recesses for the 2008-2009 school year:

Thanksgiving recess: November 26-November 29
Winter recess: December 22-January 3
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day: January 19 (optional makeups)
Memorial Day: May 25
