This special collaborative performance showcases outstanding soloists who have earned top honors through highly competitive concerto competitions\, performing with full orchestra in a powerful and inspiring program. Audiences will enjoy a dynamic selection of beloved masterworks\, including: Dvořák – Cello Concerto (Movement I) Featuring AcSO Winner\, cellist Valerie LaiBeethoven – Piano Concerto No. 1 (Movement I) Featuring AcSO Winner\, pianist Megan LaiSaint-Saëns – Cello Concerto (Movement I) Featuring CYSO Winner\, cellist Mattias van AndelThe evening culminates in a full orchestral performance of Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5\, one of the most emotionally powerful works in the classical repertoire.
