Pieces should not exceed a total length of 15 minutes.For instrumentalists\, one movement of standard concerto repertoire or major work written for soloist and orchestra.For vocalists\, a complete work for voice and orchestra\, a selection of songs from an orchestrated song cycle\, concert arias\, one or two opera arias from the same opera\, or selections from a larger work (e.g.\, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Exsultate\, jubilate) are all acceptable options. Musical Theater or similar repertoire is not allowed. Music: Provide scores (solo part/piano reduction) for the pianist at the time of application. You may bring your own pianist if you wish\, but the arrangements (including any asked-for fees) are the responsibility of the participant. You must bring neat\, double-sided\, hole-punched copies in a 3-ring binder for the WCM-provided pianist. Attire: Business or comfortable daytime recital wear. Concert black is also acceptable.
