CHAMBER MUSIC ACADEMY PROGRAM
An Immersive Chamber Music Experience for Amateur Adult Musicians
Offering weekend intensives as well as a week-long summer program, the Chamber Music Academy is designed for dedicated adult musicians to refine their ensemble skills, receive expert coaching, collaborate in an inspiring setting, and enjoy master classes and performances by distinguished WCM faculty and guest artists. Each workshop culminates in a final performance, showcasing the progress and artistry developed throughout the workshop.
Under the leadership of directors Jovan Zivkovic and Becky Johnson, the Chamber Music Academy has served 150+ participants and coached 40+ chamber groups.
What to Expect:
- Chamber ensemble coaching + rehearsals
- Chamber orchestra rehearsals
- Optional private lessons
- Lectures and master classes
- Final performance and reception
- Participants include strings, woodwinds, brass, pianists and percussion
Tuition Details
- $300 early bird, $350 regular admission
- $50 application deposit to be paid at time of application in the case of acceptance
- $120 for optional private lesson (scheduled independently)

Location Details
- The workshop will use space at WCM at Glen Echo Park and The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Glen Echo.
