Let’s celebrate the season with music, costumes, and community at the Washington Conservatory of Music’s Fall Frolic & Open House, presented in partnership with Glen Echo Park. Join us on October 31, 2026 from 1:00-4:00 PM for a delightful afternoon of community and learning at our Open House and joyful performance from 1:00-2:30 PM by the Washington Conservatory Orchestra and the talented young musicians of the Suzuki Academy! In the spirit of Halloween, we encourage you to don your best costume attire and take part in the costume contest after the performance. Admission is FREE!

Held at the whimsical Cuddle Up Pavilion at Glen Echo Park, this family-friendly event is the perfect way to spend a crisp fall afternoon. Enjoy a mix of classical favorites, seasonal selections, and student showcases that highlight the artistry and energy of our musical community. We hope that you come to join us whether you are an adult learner or student learner or simply there to hear some lively music on Halloween day. 

Our Washington Conservatory Orchestra, founded in 1996, celebrates its 30th anniversary this year and has been performing at venues large and small ever since. Our Suzuki program, built on the value of learning through listening, pairs nicely with our orchestra as both young and adult learners support each other through combined performance in our musical community.
