With over a decade of experience in general education, Wednesday Coleman is a passionate educator and dynamic music professional. Her career spans classroom teaching, therapeutic music work, and live performance, all grounded in a strong academic foundation and a lifelong dedication to the arts.
Wednesday holds a degree in Music Education from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. Her teaching experience includes working with students across grade levels EC–12, primarily within the Northside Independent School District in Texas and currently in the Montgomery School District in Maryland, where she has been a full-time General Music teacher for the past four years. She also leads an after-school beginner guitar club and has taught guitar at the D.C. Strings’ Saturday program for elementary and middle school students.
Before transitioning into education full-time, Wednesday served as a Music Therapy Technician for the State of Texas, applying the power of music in therapeutic settings. This unique background continues to inform her compassionate, student-centered approach to teaching.
In addition to her work in education, Wednesday is a celebrated vocalist known for her versatility across genres such as adult contemporary, R&B, dance, and smooth jazz. A consummate performer, she has shared stages with national touring acts and is especially recognized for her engaging live performances across major cities in the U.S.
Her vocals were featured on Tex Mex Funk by Roger Velasquez & the Latin Legendz, which won the 2018 GRAMMY Award for Best Tejano Album. In 2021, she joined EC3Vibe as a recording artist and staff songwriter, expanding her creative contributions to the music industry.
