Join us for a powerful afternoon of chamber music with the acclaimed Pressenda Chamber Players, performing masterworks by Gabriel Fauré and Robert Schumann. This concert will feature two of the most expressive piano quartets in the Romantic repertoire, brought to life by four renowned musicians.

Program Includes:

Fauré – Piano Quartet in C minor, Op. 15
Schumann – Piano Quartet in E-flat Major, Op. 47

About the Artists:

Pressenda Chamber Players, the Washington Conservatory Ensemble in Residence, is a chamber music ensemble of strings, piano, and guest artists, named for Giovanni Pressenda (1777-1854), maker of the instruments played by Founder, Artistic Director, and cellist Tobias Werner and violinist Aaron Berofsky. The Pressenda Chamber Players perform works of all eras for duos, trios, quartets, quintets, sextets, and octets and is comprised of world-class musicians from throughout the United States.
