Experience the beauty and soul of Romanian classical music at Songs of Romania, presented by Bel Cantanti Opera and the Nicolae Bretan Music Foundation.

This extraordinary concert features Esther Tonea, Romanian-American soprano and Washington Conservatory of Music faculty artist, alongside baritone Rob McGinness and pianist Katerina Souvorova. Together, they present an unforgettable program of works by Nicolae Bretan, George Enescu, George Grigoriu, and other Romanian masters.

Join us for a musical journey through Romania’s cultural heritage — from lyrical art songs to passionate piano accompaniments that illuminate the heart of Eastern Europe.
