Suzuki Violin Instructor Lynne-Marie Friedrichs is a San Diego native, and began studying the violin at the age of 4. She holds a master’s degree in violin performance. Ms. Lynne-Marie has held positions with several professional orchestras, including the Long Beach Symphony and San Diego Chamber Orchestra/Orchestra Nova. She has also served as substitute violinist for the San Diego Symphony and Opera for 30 years.
Ms Lynne-Marie has taken Suzuki Teacher Training courses with master teachers for 18 years and enjoys coaching her students to beautiful violin playing. In addition to her private studio, she has instructed the Allegro Strings after-school program, the Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra, and coached the award-winning Rancho Bernardo High School Symphony Orchestras.
Ms. Lynne-Marie has served as president of the local branch of the Music Teachers Association of California (MTAC) and is active in the Certificate of Merit program as both a teacher and adjudicator.
