Group Class Piano introduces students to keyboard fundamentals, note reading, basic music theory, harmonic foundations, and piano technique in a collaborative setting. By exploring different genres and musical styles, students gain technical knowledge in a familiar, low-pressure environment. Students will also have opportunities to prepare and perform small works for classmates throughout the course. This class is designed for beginner to intermediate learners. Keyboards are provided during class and are not available to take home. Please speak with WCM staff if you are interested in getting an instrument of your own.
