Lessons and Classes for All Ages and Skill Levels – Now Easier Than Ever to Join
We’re excited to announce a simpler, more streamlined enrollment experience, making signing up for music lessons and classes simpler than ever. WCM now uses Opus1, a new online registration system that makes it easy to browse, schedule, and manage your private lessons or group classes all in one place.
We continue to offer a wide variety of classes and programs year-round, including those held at our home in Glen Echo Park.
All lessons and classes are open to children, teens, and adults. We welcome students of all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced musicians, with programs tailored to their needs.

If this is your first time enrolling at the Washington Conservatory of Music, please begin by filling out our New Student Inquiry Form.
Once submitted, our team will create your Opus1 student account and email your login credentials within 1–2 business days. After signing in, you’ll be able to select your preferred classes or private lessons. Our registrar will then follow up to confirm your schedule.
Enroll in 3 Simple Steps
Step 1: Fill Out the Student Enrollment Form
Let us know about you or your student’s interests, experience level, and schedule preferences.
Returning Students, secure your spot by paying your $35 registration fee through Opus1 and confirming your lesson time with your teacher.

Step 2: Confirm Your Schedule with the Registrar
After your submission, our registrar will follow up to finalize your schedule, confirm your preferred lessons or classes, and create your Opus1 account.
Step 3: Create Your Account & Confirm Registration
Our team will set up your Opus1 account and email your login credentials. You’ll use this to sign in for the first time and complete your registration and payment.

Tuition & Payment
- Flexible payment options are available, including full-session payments and installment plans.
- Discounts may be available for early enrollment, multiple students, or multi-class registrations.

Registering for Classes at Glen Eco Park
Registration typically opens 6 to 10 weeks before the first class begins. Because class start dates vary, registration opens at different times for each course. You may see registration for one class available while others are still pending—this is normal due to the staggered schedule.
