About Us
Bringing Together DC’s French Horn Community in Harmony
Founded in June 2017 by Amy Horn, Capital Horns of the Washington Conservatory of Music is a French horn ensemble that meets at Glen Echo Park, Maryland. We provide a central gathering place in the DC metro area for French horn players of all ages and abilities to make music together in a supportive community.
Highlights include hosting and performing with the American Horn Quartet in 2023, as well as being featured on WETA’s Front Row Washington. Performances have taken place at Glen Echo Park, Clarendon United Methodist Church, Vienna Baptist Church, First Congregational UCC, and at multiple Horn Days! at George Mason University.
