Class meetings: M-F Aug 10-14, Washington Conservatory of Music at Glen Echo Park, 10am-3pm, 5 sessions
String students, prepare to go back to school and be a valuable member of their school music community. This is a perfect opportunity for students who are going into middle school or high school and want a boost preparing for a higher level of ensemble playing. Minimum of one year’s experience on their instrument is required, and students must be able to read music. Curriculum will include master-classes, sectionals, and orchestra rehearsals daily, culminating in a short demonstration/performance on Friday afternoon.
