About Us

A Premier Ensemble in Partnership

Open to professional and talented amateur musicians, the Accord Symphony Orchestra, now in its 10th Season, has presented +115 concerts since its founding in 2017 by Andrew Lee. With a focus on performing throughout the region, the ensemble has engaged hundreds of area soloists and musicians over the years. The orchestra made its Kennedy Center debut in 2019 as part of theREACH opening and returned to present a world premiere in March 2024. Other engagements include performances at The Embassy of Spain, The Chrysalis, theWHARF, National Park Service sites, and more. The orchestra frequently collaborates with area choirs including National UMC Festival Choir, Herndon UMC Choir, and the Carter Legacy Singers.
